Hi, I'm Mike.

Author of My Money Bunnies

My mother kept a sewing box in the family room. Below the thread bobbins and directly under the tomato pin cushion was an envelope. The German word “Spaß” (pronounced spa-sh) was written on it. The word means “fun.” Whenever my mother would go out with friends she would open the sewing box, move the tomato, and put the “FUN” envelope in her purse. That was my first lesson on money management: divide up your money for different uses before you use it.

In my adult years I was surprised that none of my childhood friends were exposed to a system like that. I was surprised that personal finances weren’t taught in grade school, high school or college. I was surprised that most of us were left to figure it out on our own. That’s why I created the Money Bunnies. I want children to have a foundational financial understanding that will serve them for a lifetime.

Today, I still use the exact principles of the Money Bunnies to manage the finances for my family and my business. It has brought clarity and confidence to all my financial decisions. I hope it does the same for your children and you. No one ever is too young or too old for the Money Bunnies.
